I hold a master's in Psychology and have been a practicing special educator for many years.

My philosophy and approach are very inclusive and seek to integrate the parents as active participants in the interventions I plan.

A bit about myself!

​

I have tirelessly worked for pushing inclusive education and achieved success in getting school-level inclusion.  I am very hands-on and work directly with teachers who are engaging with the students and know the difficulties faced by them.

​

I have extensive experience counseling parents, and have conducted workshops for mainstream school teachers and parents.

I can work with students on a one-to-one basis as well as in groups.

My specialization is in Cerebral palsy, but I am capable of handling multiple disabilities

I conduct assessments to focus on each student's strengths and weaknesses in all possible areas. These assessments facilitate in the development of an IEP for the child, home plan, and intervention planning.

Although I am not a speech therapist, but I know how to initiate speech therapy and can also work on some areas in occupational therapy like sensory integration, balance issues, focus, and attention games.

In the field of research, I am working on the impact of diet changes and reduced dependency on medication. It is still a work in progress as I aim to collect data on a large scale. 

I have worked with pediatric doctors and pediatric neurologists, forging strong partnerships and teamwork with the medical community.
